As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated devops engineer, passionate about cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure as well as conventional hosting.
You will be able to work independently or collaborate effectively with colleagues specialising in design, development and IT support.
You will enjoy a challenge and will be motivated by working on a diverse range of fast paced and interesting projects. Our development workload is a mix of bespoke client work and cutting edge in house product development, so you can be assured that no two days are the same.
You will have good communication skills and be able to articulate your ideas to colleagues. You will enjoy been up to date with the latest technology and will be encouraged and supported to continuously develop your skills and learn new things.
In addition to your cloud specialism you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in related areas that interest you such as back end and database development, app development and much more.

Passion for cloud and hosting technologies
Experience with implementing best practice on either AWS or Azure, as well as conventional hosting on Linux or Windows
Knowledge of spinning up and configuring LAMP or similar stacks
An understanding of DNS & networking within the cloud
Good technical communication skills, sharing ideas with colleagues
Awareness of monitoring and proactive maintenance
Effective understanding of security practices and requirements
A good understanding of automation or infrastructure as code technologies such as Ansible, Puppet or Terraform would give you an advantage, as would experience working closely as part of a cross-functional development team. If you don’t have experience in these areas, though, but are a quick learner who can think on their feet, you should apply anyway!
